Does ShiftSphere handle statutory payroll compliance in India?
Yes, ShiftSphere processes fully compliant payroll runs. The platform automatically calculates statutory deductions including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Professional Tax (PT), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS). It also exports compliant ECR files for direct upload to government portals, as well as formatted bank transfer sheets.
How does the bulk employee import preview feature work?

Before importing them into the database, ShiftSphere parses the file, checks current plan seat limits (e.g. starter or free quotas), highlights invalid fields, and lets you selectively approve or deselect rows. Only approved records are created in PostgreSQL.
